Turning Magenta Green

T-Mobile challenged my agency to remake its outdated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) site to stand out against its competitors and effectively communicate T-Mobile’s social impact story to customers, employees, and investors.

While the full team’s scope was wide-ranging, my focus was updating the front-end design to present T-Mobile’s CSR story in a way that engaged viewers but fit seamlessly with T-Mobile’s web standards. The process involved UX and UI design, wire-framing, web design, and logistics. We worked with T-Mobile’s in-house web development team to ensure proper brand web standards compliance.

Some of the main challenges we faced and overcame included matching T-Mobile’s boisterous visual style with a softer message, condensing extremely detailed CSR stories into smaller chunks, and getting up to speed with T-Mobile’s evolving digital brand. Most of the existing T-Mobile website is geared toward cell phone and plan sales whereas our portion of the site is more informative. While a lot of our design used off-the-shelf web elements that are seen elsewhere on the site, we were also able to make the case for some customized solutions that fit our informative content better.

The design satisfied all stakeholders and was successfully handed off for implementation. T-Mobile now stands wit the world's most impactful companies showcasing their robust CSR programs.
